Miniature Lantern Alarm Timepiece by William Lambert

A nicely proportioned single-handed miniature lantern timepiece with alarm.
The break-arch dial with finely-matted centre, applied silvered chapter ring engraved with Roman numerals and lozenge half-hour markers, silvered alarm setting disc with Arabic numerals to dial centre. Original, finely detailed, pierced iron hand. Silvered boss in break-arch carrying maker's signature "William Lambert, London".
The single train, weight-driven movement with verge escapement and short bob pendulum. Hoop and spikes to rear for wall hanging.
A good single-handed timepiece, runs superbly with an excellent alarm.
The clock having 3 1/4" square frame and 6 1/4" high by 5" wide break-arch dial. The clock stands 8 1/2" high to top of bell finial.
