Reproduction lantern clock signed Dent London, with verge escapement and rear swing short bob pendulum. A well-known and well-executed lantern copy of the late 20th century.

These lanterns are referred to as one of the best 20th century copies of a traditional 17th century lantern. Most were signed 'William Gray' and were retailed through Harrods of London in the 1980's. They were also available direct from the manufacturer and in kit form. A few of these clocks were also supplied to and named specifically for Dent of London. This clock is one of the very few supplied to Dent for retail.
