A primitive hooded wall clock circa 1695 with 9 inch square brass dial having matted centre within an applied silvered Roman numeral chapter ring with lozenge half-hour markers and cherub head cast spandrels to angles. The 30-hour plated bell-striking movement with anchor escapement and rear-mounted countwheel.
The clock in an ebonised elm case with gilt highlights. Forward-sliding hood.
