A stiking timepiece with original recoil escapement and long pendulum. Very original movement running on original rope driven pulleys.

Hoop and spikes now lacking. Pallet arbor shortened and backcock repositioned 1" forward, probably to facilitate close fitting to the wall.

The dial plate having fine floral engraving in the traditional Kent style. The front fret engraved with crossed dolphins, and with plain matching side frets.

The clock having 5 1/2" square frame, 6 1/2" diameter chapter ring of 1 1/2" width and engraved 6 1/4" high dial plate. Standing 15" high to top of bell finial.
