An 8-day wall clock by George Staples of London in a mahogany case. Having 8" silvered dial engraved with maker's name, G Staples London, and surrounded by an 8" cast brass bezel. The fine english A-framed fusee-driven movement having 4 pillars and short bob pendulum with crown verge escapement.

Ten inch overall clock case diameter, 5" overall depth of clock, 8" diameter silvered dial.

George Staples, a clockmaker of London, recorded as circa 1790.
