Longcase Clock by Griffith Davies
DOLGELLY, GWYNEDD
c. 1840
An oak longcase with 8-day painted break-arch dial 14" x 20". Light oak case with mahogany and rosewood crossbanding and inlay, standing 91.5" high. Swan-neck pediment to the hood, turned mahogany pillars and period glass. The dial has brass hands showing hours minutes and seconds. The clock is totally original and in good working condition. Both case and dial have been sypathetically restored.
